About Us

Our trucking division currently has 48 State common, contract and brokerage authority. We are one of the few pier carriers that have company owned and operated tractors. In addition, our company drivers are equipped with radiophones for instant communications. We also have a current Customs House License in N.J. (NWK269), bonded carrier authority between states, and a liquor license for the transportation of liquor within New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. We also provide truckload and flat bed services from Essex and Hudson counties to 48 states. Overweight 20’ containers can be transported via our tri-axle chassis. MCS currently owns five 40' chassis and five 20’ chassis that can be provided as rentals for your account. In addition, we own two 8-pin chassis and four tri-axles.

WAREHOUSE

Our warehouse space 100,000 square feet with 25 doors. The warehouse is temperature controlled to protect your cargo from freezing, if requested. We have 2 drive in doors if automobile loading is needed. We provide transloading, export consolidation, import distribution, and storage. We also can handle special projects which require heavy lifts (capacity is 10 tons) , loading of flat racks, and banding of cargo.

NON-VESSEL OPERATING COMMON CARRIER (NVOCC)

Our affiliated company Management Consultant Brokerage (MCB) is a licensed NVOCC company by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) to provide Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) services (License #017311). Our company can provide Ocean & Air Freight quotes from anywhere in the world both to and from the United States for your International Import and Export cargo. As a member of the NCBFAASA, we have exclusive contracts with various Steamship Lines to service your transportation requirements at competitive rates.

EXPORT FREIGHT FORWARDING

MCB is licensed Freight Forwarder by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) to provide Export Documentation services. Our company can provide Export services which includes booking the container with the Steamship Line, coordinating the inland drayage, providing dock receipts, filing the necessary Shipper’s Export Declaration electronically and forwarding the Ocean Bill of Lading to the proper party.

BROKERAGE DEPARTMENT

MCB can provide to your company or its importers an in-house US Customs licensed brokerage service. This division can produce the necessary documentation to clear or transport your cargo in bond to its destination. MCB can also provide remote filing for other ports in the United States beside the NJ/NY area. By providing this service to our importers, their messenger fees are reduced and the clearance time is expedited.
